Vasavi prints is a brainchild of Mrs.P.Vasundhara Reddy ,a social worker who wanted to utilize her talent in creativity. On 14 November 1984 she started the enterprise with a single block printing table which has now grown to 5 tables and employs women exclusively. She is the founder of Nachiketa Tapovan a charitable organization established in the year 1999. The organization has 400 underprivileged children who are educated free of cost.
Vasavi prints has an exclusive collection of block print,batik,embroidery and hand painted Mul Mul, Mangalgiri,Narayanpet, Kota, Chanderi, Chiffon, Ikkat, Kalamkari ,Organdi, Jamdani,Cottons from West Bengal, silk cotton Sarees and Salwar suits and handicrafts for children and special occasions.
